Surface Textures

The variable surface textures observed in this THEMIS image are the result of different lava flow units. Flow fronts indicate material was once semi-fluid and filled in preexisting impact craters. Channels observed in the eastern half of the image suggest additional materials may have once flowed and eroded older units.
