Russell Crater - VIS

This VIS camera image was taken at the same time as the infrared image that was the previous image of the day. There is more detail in the VIS due to the higher resolution of the image. Note that the dunes are dark in tone, whereas the previous image showed them as a bright feature [warm in temperature].
