Alba Mons
About this image
Alba Mons is a broad volcano surrounded by graben features created by a huge volcanic eruption followed by the collapse of the volcano into the underlying empty magma chamber. Part of the summit caldera is visible in the center of the image. The summit caldera is called Alba Patera. Alba Mons is 6.8km tall (4.2 miles).
